A 2-minute local TV item from Chichicastenango, Guatemala, known for its traditional Mayan culture. At a public ceremony, several young offenders receive a whipping on the bare back. There is no JCP in Guatemala's national penal code, but local tribes are allowed to carry out their own traditional punishments.
