Top school reveals secret weapon for 2008 exams

By Nhlanhla Mathunjwa

MBABANE -- As the IGCSE exams start today, St Francis High School, which is rated as the best school in the country, has revealed its secrets to this year's exam.

The school's Deputy Principal, Mandla Dlamini, said they had prepared well for this year's exams and were looking forward to good results again. He said their secret was working hard on the individual discipline of the pupils, as well as ensuring that they have adequate study times.

He said they also still believed in corporal punishment.

"We always tell the pupils that we would not stop beating them. Discipline is very important and we are very particular about it. A child has to be disciplined, especially when he is still at school," he said.
