Hamilton Boy Bandits Sentenced Plus Strap
Youthful Hamilton trio sent to reformatory on six charges of assault and armed robbery plus an aggregate of 66 strokes of the strap.
(1) Richard Hawley, aged 17, 18 months definite and two years less a day indeterminate plus 18 strokes of the strap.
(2) James Ward, aged 19, two years less one day determinate plus two years less a day indeterminate and 24 strokes of the strap.
(3) Alfred Poley, aged 18, 18 months definite and two years less a day indeterminate plus 24 strokes.
