Sentence On Youths

For Melbourne Murder

MELBOURNE, Monday.

Allan Ward and Leslie Lewis, who were convicted of the murder of Arthur Head, school teacher, were to-day sentenced to four years' imprisonment, and each ordered to receive five whippings of 20 strokes with the birch within the first month of imprisonment.
