Teenager to be caned for raping niece (6)

An 18-year-old Silobela man who raped his six-year-old niece will receive five cane strokes after a Gweru magistrate on Wednesday found him guilty of rape.
The teenager was aged 17 at the time he committed the offence and resides at Gwetu village under Chief Malisa in Silobela.
It was the State case that in July last year, the accused laid the complainant on the ground before undressing and raping her, ignoring her cries for him to stop.
Regional magistrate, Morgan Nemadire sentenced the juvenile to receive five strokes that will be administered by officers at WhaWha Prison.
