Schoolgirl's sugar daddy given six of the best

MBABANE: A Swazi schoolgirl's "sugar daddy" was this week punished school-style with six of the best by a deputy headmaster, a local weekend newspaper reported.

The 45-year-old man allegedly stayed at his house with his gymslipped lover for two weeks before her parents discovered them.

When summoned before the Endizingeni school authorities, the man was given the option of facing the courts or submitting to the school's form of punishment.

He chose the latter and, in front of his schoolgirl lover, was ordered to lie prone on the floor.

Deputy headmaster Dumisani Mkhonta refused the man's plea that he be beaten with a cane and sjambokked him. One stroke of the sjambok was the equivalent to ten with a cane, the man said.

Mr Mkhonta said the man grunted, squirmed and twice stood up, but he was ordered to lie down and take the punishment he had chosen. After the sixth stroke the man jumped up and fled saying he would not speak to the girl again until she finished her schooling.
