Caution to Assigned Servants.
Arthur Gore, assigned servant to Dr. M'Leay, residing at Lane Cove, was placed at the bar of the police office, on Tuesday last, under a charge of behaving impertinently to his mistress during her husband's absence. Mr. Brennan observed that he made it an invariable rule to punish insolence to a female with severity; he should therefore sentence the prisoner to receive thirty-six lashes on the breech.
